What surprises me is the amount of ingredients in some packaged food. One just about needs a degree in chemistry to decipher them or have Google at hand to find out what they are. It annoyed me. I'm lactose intolerant and sensitive to gluten. I wanted simple foods. Recently, I decided to go all out and start publishing the huge amount of recipes I'd created, food with as little ingredients as possible, requiring little effort and bursting with flavour. I know what's going into them and it's cost me less at the shop too. I still have to buy for the non converts of my family, but the more I make yummy stuff the more they're asking for them. Eat Simply is a website of my collection of recipes. Bon appétit ~ Karen.
